What is a CineSend screener link?

It's a secure way to share your film online with festivals, press, and buyers. Recipients can stream your film in high quality without needing to download the file.

Do I need to prepare my video before sending it?

CineSend encodes your videos for you with studio-grade multi-DRM. Just click "Encode Content" on the screener landing page to start and your video will be ready to send in minutes. 

How long does encoding take?

For a feature-length film, encoding usually takes a few minutes to one hour, depending on file type. If it's running longer than expected, reach out to the CineSend Support Team at support@cinesend.com and they'll be happy to help.

How do I actually send the screener once it's encoded?

Click "Send Screener" and you'll have two options: share directly via email (one recipient or many), or generate a shareable link you can copy and paste wherever you like. Sending to a big list? Use the "Download CSV Template", fill in your reviewers' info, and upload it back.

How do I know if my reviewers have watched the screener?

All your reviewer info appears below the video player after you share. You'll see who has access, which security features are enabled, expiry status, and when they last viewed. Paid subscribers also get heat map tracking to see individual viewing habits in detail.
